I developed a taste for social law in the course of my studies at Ghent university. After graduating I therefore decided to specialize in this area and obtained a Master's degree in social law at the university of Brussels (ULB). I started my career as a lawyer at the law firm Claeys & Engels in Ghent in September 2012. After my traineeship at the bar, I decided to join the recently founded law firm Kwint. I have been active in various fields of social law. I have experience in individual and collective dismissal cases and have given advice to clients on a range of topics related to human resources within the company, such as recruitment, end-of-career solutions, working time, compensation & benefits, competition, strikes, false self-employment, protected employees, well-being at work, collective labour relations, and social elections.
